Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active SLP state licensure for schools in Florida.
- CCC-SLP certification highly regarded; strong CFY candidates are encouraged.
- Experience working with diverse school-age populations and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Adaptability to different educational settings and caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students at multiple school sites, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs) and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and execute intervention strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring.
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Travel between assigned schools within your region:
- Renaissance Charter School at Tradition: 31.5 hours/week
- Tradition Preparatory High School: 15 hours/week
- Innovation Academy of Excellence in Collaboration with Tallahassee State College: 1 hour/week
- Union Park Charter Academy: 16 hours/week
- Four Corners Charter School: 23-28 hours/week
- Downtown Miami Charter School: 4-5 hours/week (2 days per week)
