In this role, you'll deliver essential SLP services to a range of charter schools and academies, each with its own dynamic setting and student needs. From Tradition Preparatory High School to Downtown Miami Charter School, you'll engage with learners at every level.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license in Florida
- ASHA CCC certification strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress reporting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Conduct therapy sessions tailored to each child’s needs across assigned school sites (services offered at 1-31.5 hours per week per school)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, therapy, and student progress
- Attend meetings as required and contribute to the IEP process
