Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Oregon licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood or elementary settings
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy and IEP processes
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine speech and language needs, set goals, and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to improve communication, language, and social skills for students with various abilities
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families to support student progress
- Consult with teachers and caregivers to provide strategies for reinforcing communication goals in the classroom and at home
- Adjust and manage caseloads according to student needs and professional preferences
