Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Oregon licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood or elementary settings
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy and IEP processes
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine speech and language needs, set goals, and create individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to improve communication, language, and social skills for students with various abilities
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families to support student progress
  • Consult with teachers and caregivers to provide strategies for reinforcing communication goals in the classroom and at home
  • Adjust and manage caseloads according to student needs and professional preferences
