Make a meaningful impact by supporting students with language needs in a dynamic school setting. Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for contract opportunities serving varied student populations. Both roles offer Monday–Friday schedules with regular day hours and unpaid lunch breaks; one role involves working across multiple sites, and candidates interested in less than full-time are welcome for that position. Telepractice and SLPA applications are not being considered for these openings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Recent experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings strongly preferred
  • Skills working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate inclusively
  • Commitment to equity initiatives and student-centered practices
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening, assessment, and direct therapy for students with speech or language impairments
  • Develop, implement, and oversee AAC interventions, coaching teachers and support staff on classroom integration
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and submit documentation for Medicaid billing
  • Facilitate communication with families, teachers, and outside agencies regarding student needs and progress
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistant staff as needed
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of services and participate in required meetings
