Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though motivated new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
