School Speech Language Pathologist - Heyworth, Illinois

This Speech-Language Pathologist role offers a balanced 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, and the chance to make a meaningful difference for a caseload of about 40 young learners near Heyworth, IL.

Whether you’re completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), your knowledge and compassion will be invaluable in this setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Eligibility as a CFY or CCC-SLP
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Passion for working with PreK and kindergarten students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in PreK and kindergarten
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Communicate progress and strategies effectively to caregivers and staff
