Speech and Language Pathologist - Herndon, VA

Starting in August, you'll work onsite, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 4pm, for 30-35 hours per week. In this role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team and have the special chance to make a real impact on student lives.
This position is open to Speech-Language Pathologists who hold or are eligible for licensure in Virginia. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, with supervision available to support the completion of your CFY. The school setting is fully onsite and not able to accommodate SLPAs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellows eligible for supervision
- Current or eligible for Virginia SLP licensure
- Experience or willingness to work with students with autism across a broad age range
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to relocate quickly or get licensed, for travel candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for students ages 5-22, all with diagnosed autism
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, family members, and allied professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
