This contract position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and thrives in a school-based setting. From August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, you'll play a key role in fostering student growth while also providing supervision for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP – CCC credential
- State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Interest in or prior experience supervising SLPAs
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and deliver individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals and district policies
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports
- Supervise and mentor the on-site SLPA, ensuring effective service delivery and professional growth
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and ongoing progress monitoring
