An exciting contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings located in Murrieta, CA. This role involves providing direct speech therapy services while offering clinical supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). The position is geared toward professionals passionate about supporting student communication needs in an educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students in a school setting
- Supervising and mentoring SLPAs to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to clinical guidelines
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conducting assessments, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and therapy services
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Proven ability to supervise and guide Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational assessments
