This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for dynamic Speech-Language Pathologists who are committed to fostering student success in school settings. With a 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday), you’ll have the option of additional professional development Fridays, allowing for ongoing growth and an excellent work-life balance.
You’ll collaborate closely with an enthusiastic SLPA team, managing a caseload of approximately 70 students across two supportive school sites. Lend your expertise to a vibrant educational community, working with children from diverse backgrounds and providing both in-person and teletherapy sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist - CCC required, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings preferred
- Proficient in teletherapy and traditional in-person therapy modalities
- Passionate about working with students to help them achieve their communication goals
- Ability to skillfully manage and support a student caseload with help from an SLPA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, planning, and direct intervention services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Implement effective therapy strategies for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and adjust IEPs/goals as needed
- Supervise and mentor SLPA(s), fostering a supportive team environment
