Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement therapy plans effectively
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in delivering individualized interventions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual needs as outlined in IEPs
- Manage caseload, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and monitor progress
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and special education teams to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to collaborative planning
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as required
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents on speech-language topics
