Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Boone, Colorado

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists with CCCs who thrive in settings serving diverse pediatric populations, and who value work/life balance. You’ll oversee a manageable caseload of approximately 70 students, spread across two school sites, with SLPA assistance to help facilitate interventions and documentation. Opportunities are available for those experienced in teletherapy, as well as for Clinical Fellows seeking their CFY. The environment is supportive, and your professional expertise will be highly valued by both staff and students.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY
- Experience with pediatric, school-based caseloads preferred
- Comfortable supervising or collaborating with SLPAs
- Teletherapy experience a plus
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP in the state
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies
- Supervise and collaborate with designated SLPAs
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed
- Support both in-person and remote needs across two schools
