Desired Qualifications:
- Active CCC credential as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- A minimum of 3 years prior SLP experience in schools (required)
- Deep familiarity with AAC devices and strategies, particularly for students requiring substantial supports
- Comfort working exclusively onsite in a public school setting
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive SLP services to elementary students, tailoring support for AAC users
- Conduct thorough evaluations, maintain meticulous records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide guidance and training to staff and families regarding effective AAC implementation
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to maximize student success
