Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience or clinical practicum in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student populations
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to support students’ individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement therapy activities that target articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collect data and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student needs
- Assist with creating and organizing instructional materials
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
