Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience implementing treatment plans as directed by a licensed SLP
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
- Proficient documentation and recordkeeping skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Work directly with students to carry out therapy activities and interventions
- Collect and document data on student progress and participation
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain an organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with school teams, families, and supervising SLP
- Support classroom integration of speech and language goals
- Participate in professional development and training activities
