Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
- Valid SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow supervised therapy plans and adapt to instructional feedback
- Organizational skills and compassion for young learners
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy sessions under the direction of an SLP
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Create or prepare therapy materials as needed
- Support SLPs in assessments or screenings as directed
- Engage with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
