Speech Language Pathologist in Hayward, CA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist making a difference in students’ lives. This position supports a caseload of 55 students, collaborating with faculty and families to provide essential speech and language services. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering consistency and the chance to build meaningful relationships with your students.
Qualifications:
- Active, valid California SLP license or credential
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and parent conferences as needed
Contract Details:
- Immediate start – begin as soon as you’re credentialed
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Work through the end of the current school year
- Caseload of approximately 55 students
