Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Rochester, Michigan

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract role servicing an elementary caseload. This opportunity runs 37.5 hours per week, from as soon as possible through June 10th. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience with pediatric and school-age populations preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
- Adaptable approach to working with diverse learners and collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with varied speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other school professionals to support communication objectives in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Promote positive learning outcomes and advocate for students’ needs
