Candidates have the special opportunity to start 1-2 weeks prior for shadowing and transition time, ensuring a smooth handover from the current clinician.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in Kansas and CCC-SLP certification
- Previous school-based or high school experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and student evaluation processes
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 46 students, facilitating both consultation and direct therapy
- Confident communicator—comfortable collaborating with staff, families, and students
- Organized, adaptable, and able to work independently
Position Highlights:
- 3-day workweek: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
- Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on workload completion
- Caseload includes a blend of direct therapy (750 hours) and consultation (1,085 hours)
