School Speech Language Pathologist - Haysville, KS

Step into a rewarding opportunity to work as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on early childhood and Pre-K students with AAC needs. This contract position allows you to provide meaningful support while collaborating with another SLP to ensure students receive exceptional care and attention.
There are two options for assignment:
- Candidate 1: October to December, covering a maternity leave for 12-15 weeks, with a start date aligned as needed. Hours are 3 days per week.
- Candidate 2: September to November/December, for 2 days per week, assisting with increased student numbers and sharing caseload responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring to early childhood and Pre-K students.
- Collaborate with another SLP to split caseloads, particularly for students utilizing AAC devices.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
- Maintain accurate case documentation, manage IEPs, and contribute as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
- Engage positively with staff and families, fostering communication and supporting student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP-CCC and state licensure (or eligibility) to practice in Kansas.
- Prior experience within a school setting, especially with young learners and AAC devices, is strongly desired.
- Passion for early childhood education and collaborative teamwork.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to on-site (in-person) service delivery is required.
