Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license, with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, especially in early childhood settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency or experience working with AAC devices highly valued
- Ability to work on-site (in-person only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy services to early childhood and Pre-K students
- Share a caseload of children, many using AAC devices, ensuring individualized plans are followed
- Collaborate closely with another SLP to split caseloads and coordinate services
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop appropriate IEP goals
- Maintain detailed records and communicate progress to parents and staff
- Participate in school team meetings and coordinate with educators and families
