Here’s an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology professional looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners! This full-time, onsite contract assignment focuses on providing essential speech and language services to PreK–1st grade students as part of a leave-of-absence coverage. The position is based within a single school site and is set to run through December 18, 2026. Supervision is available, making it a fantastic fit for new graduates, Clinical Fellows, as well as experienced SLPs and SLPAs.
Qualifications:
- Hold current Alabama SLP licensure and certification
- Open to candidates with CCC, Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF), and SLPAs
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Must be comfortable working onsite and in person
- Ability to engage with young children (PreK–1st grade)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students’ communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Service a caseload of approximately 50 students across one site
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with families about student progress
- Facilitate a supportive and enriching therapy environment for all learners
