We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Jefferson Parish serving the Harvey, Louisiana area for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details
Full-Time: 35 hours per week
School Year: 8/7/2026 – 5/27/2027
Location: Harvey, LA

Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and special education staff
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals and interventions as needed
Support students in developing effective communication skills for academic and social success
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
Active Louisiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure required
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
