Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Louisiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Prior experience in school settings, especially with preschool or early childhood populations
- Commitment to working onsite four days per week, approximately four hours each day
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for young students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with the Early Interventionist Team
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Provide resources and guidance to caregivers and teachers to foster language development in multiple settings
