Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Holds a current Louisiana SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in school settings, especially with early intervention or preschool-aged children, is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering targeted interventions onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to children ages 3-4 in a school-based setting
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to support each child’s individual education plan
- Complete evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and district guidelines
- Foster a nurturing and communicative environment that encourages student growth and engagement
