The position is full-time, running from ASAP through the end of the school year, serving students in grades K-12. You’ll be part of a close-knit educational community, typically working across 2-3 classrooms with small group sizes, ensuring you can make a real impact on each student.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license (CT state licensure preferred or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings (K-12 preferred)
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently—no SLPAs on site
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in diverse educational environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students across assigned classrooms (6-8 students per room)
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other education professionals
  • Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
  • Support the language and communication needs of students in creative ways
