Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility in Virginia)
- Acceptance of both CCC-certified clinicians and clinical fellows (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services to students meeting eligibility for speech/language support
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities
