Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Woodbridge, VA
Exciting opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a fulfilling school-based position in the Washington DC area (just 45 minutes south of DC). This full-time contract role offers direct, on-site service delivery across a variety of school settings—assignments are available at the elementary, middle, and high school level. With a start date of August 3, 2026, and running through May 27, 2027, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload and make a meaningful impact in students’ educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to start and complete VA Department of Social Services background check promptly
- TB test required per state regulations
- Passion for working with children and adolescents of varied backgrounds and needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students as assigned, with caseloads available across multiple age groups
- Administer assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation per district and state requirements
- Work cooperatively with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student success
