As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload. While you focus on assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring, you’ll have valuable support from an SLPA to help execute therapy plans and assist in day-to-day activities. This position welcomes both experienced SLPs (CCC) and recent graduates (CF) who possess a passion for making a difference in young learners’ lives.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Open to CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students
- Comfortable working onsite in a school setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
- Supervise and coordinate with an SLPA to implement therapy programs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
