Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active licensure as an SLP in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with children, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with diverse disabilities and communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for IEPs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to track student progress
- Collaborate with educators and families to support successful learning outcomes
- Educate and advocate for students’ speech and language needs within the school setting
