Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Texas SLP credential (required)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, including roles such as SLP, SLP-CFY, or similar
- Knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and speech-language interventions
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support each student’s educational needs
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in meetings and provide guidance to educators and caregivers regarding speech/language concerns
