Key Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy screenings, assessments, and comprehensive evaluations.
Develop, review, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) targeting fine motor, gross motor, and sensory-motor skills.
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to help students access their curriculum.
Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams on classroom accommodations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
Certification: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required.
Licensure: Active South Carolina State Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain).
