In this full-time position (37.5 hours/week), you’ll provide essential speech and language therapy to kindergarten through fifth-grade students, helping them develop vital communication skills for future success.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings for elementary-aged students.
- Manage a rewarding caseload of 60-80 students, developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.
- Complete school-based tasks such as IEP creation, progress documentation, and other compliance-related responsibilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff, serving as a key partner in student success.
- Participate in paid administrative tasks and team meetings, ensuring strong communication and seamless service delivery.
- Travel between two assigned schools during the workday, with all travel time between locations compensated.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a closely related field.
- Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP in Indiana.
- Willingness to complete background checks and required fingerprinting before beginning the assignment.
- Passion for working with pediatric and elementary-aged students; school-based and/or teletherapy experience welcomed.
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply — supervision arrangements will be tailored to your professional development needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support students in multiple school sites.
