Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Crown Point, Indiana

Step into a dynamic school-based role focused on making a difference in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY). For the full academic year from August 24, 2026, through May 21, 2027, you’ll work full-time (37.5 hours a week) supporting elementary students (K-5) across two school buildings. This contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to foster communication skills in children and collaborate with professionals in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 60–80 elementary students
- Fulfill all school-based SLP responsibilities, including IEP creation, therapy documentation, and progress reporting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration to promote student growth and success
- Participate in paid administrative time and team meetings as part of your regular schedule
- Provide support as an itinerant therapist, with paid driving time while traveling between assigned buildings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Indiana state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience or strong interest in serving pediatric and school populations, including teletherapy options
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) with available and adaptable supervision tailored to your needs
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting before starting
