Embark on a fulfilling journey as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY), making a direct impact on students’ lives in elementary settings. Located conveniently near Crown Point, IN, this contract role spans the full academic year, from August 24, 2026 through May 21, 2027, with a steady 37.5-hour workweek.
In this position, you’ll work across two elementary schools (Grades K–5), playing a pivotal role in helping students reach their communication milestones. Ideal candidates are adaptable, collaborative, and passionate about pediatric speech-language development. Out-of-area and travel professionals are encouraged to apply, and strong support is provided for Clinical Fellows.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 60–80 K–5 students.
- Manage IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration to enhance student support.
- Attend paid administrative meetings and engage in team-based planning.
- Provide itinerant support, traveling between two elementary buildings—with all driving time fully compensated while on the clock.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Eligible for Indiana state SLP licensure.
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting prior to starting.
- Experience with or strong interest in school-based and pediatric therapy; CCC or Clinical Fellowship applicants welcome.
- Teletherapy and healthcare SLP experience is a plus.
