Speech Language Pathologist in Hale Center, TX

This onsite role is designed for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant who is passionate about empowering students from ECSE through first grade. Based at a dedicated campus, you'll work with a range of needs including articulation, language, and pragmatic skills, making a meaningful impact on young students' daily communication and academic growth. Supervision is available, making this a perfect fit for those pursuing Clinical Fellowship or early-career SLPAs eager to learn and grow.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active SLPA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Candidates may hold or be pursuing their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or be eligible as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience or strong interest in supporting preschool and early elementary-aged students
- Solid understanding of best practices for articulation, language development, and social/pragmatic communication
- Professional, flexible, and able to collaborate with supervising SLPs and educational staff
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and student progress documentation
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy at the ECSE 3 through 1st grade campus
- Implement individualized therapy plans addressing articulation, language, and pragmatic skills
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Participate in team meetings, contribute insights on student progress, and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff
- Engage with families and caregivers to support carryover of therapeutic strategies
This is a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours weekly) that allows you to build expertise, contribute to young learners' success, and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking special education team.
