Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Valid SLP or SLPA license (or eligibility) in Ohio
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or within Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
- Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassion and adaptability when working with diverse student needs
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with teachers, families, and staff
- Offer both onsite and remote therapy services as needed
- Maintain compliant documentation and timely reporting
- Support student success through evidence-based intervention strategies
