Step into an exciting role providing meaningful support to students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 27, 2027, you’ll make a difference each day in an environment that values initiative and professionalism. Working full-time, you’ll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar—35 hours per week—to provide stability and a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Active Louisiana state licensure (not in process—must be current at the time of submission)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Ability to pass stringent credentialing, including a district drug screen and fingerprinting
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students (caseload specifics and age groups to be determined upon assignment)
- Complete required documentation for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive and adaptable education environment
- Respond promptly to student needs, fostering communication, confidence, and engagement in the classroom
- Travel between assigned schools as needed (number and locations of schools TBD)
