School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Greer, South Carolina

As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll make a lasting impact working with students ages 6 months to 8 years, offering evaluation, treatment, and intervention that encourages optimal communication and growth.
In this direct hire position, you’ll work across a 205-day paid contract, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure each child’s needs are met. You'll contribute meaningfully to every stage of service delivery—from comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to the development and completion of individualized education programs (IEPs).
What Will Set You Up for Success:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure (or eligibility)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA is preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
- Experience or coursework in school-based therapy highly valued
- Confidence developing and completing treatment plans/IEPs
- Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Role Highlights:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations for children aged 6 months to 8 years
- Develop tailored treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapy
- Complete and update IEPs in line with student goals and progress
- Consult with educators, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Utilize and recommend AAC devices, adjusting interventions as needed
