This direct hire opportunity spans 205 paid days, offering you the chance to make a long-term impact on children's communication abilities within an educational environment. Preference will be given to SLPs holding the CCC credential, but CFY candidates will also be thoughtfully considered.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP-CCC preferred; recent graduates with CFY eligibility are welcome to apply
- Valid licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in the state
- Experience or strong interest in school-aged pediatric populations
- Solid understanding of evaluation and treatment of communication disorders
- Familiarity with implementing and supporting AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices
- Proficient in creating and maintaining IEPs and treatment plans
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of speech and language skills
- Develop, review, and deliver individual treatment plans
- Write and manage IEP documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Coordinate with educators and caregivers to support student success
- Integrate AAC device strategies and training into therapy as appropriate
- Actively participate in multi-disciplinary teams for student support
