Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure; CCC strongly preferred, CFY considered
- Experience in evaluating and reevaluating students aged 6 months to 8 years
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and tracking individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills to support caseload and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop tailored treatment plans and document progress in accordance with IEP procedures
- Deliver direct therapy services, adapting interventions to meet each child’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Advocate for appropriate AAC device use and integrate such technology into individualized plans
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all district and state regulations
