Speech Language Pathologist in Greenwood, IN

Make a real impact in a supportive school environment by providing critical speech-language services to students with a primary focus on evaluations. In this engaging onsite contract position, you’ll work closely with another experienced SLP to support nonverbal life skills students and collaborate with dedicated SLP staff.
Your expertise will help shape meaningful communication opportunities for a caseload of approximately 50–70 students, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and care they deserve throughout the school year.
Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with evaluations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Compassionate approach to working with students, including those with nonverbal needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
- Work collaboratively with another SLP to support the needs of nonverbal life skills students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute input to individualized education plans
- Communicate clearly with educational staff and families regarding student progress and recommendations
This position is onsite, with a 37.5-hour work week scheduled from early August 2026 through early June 2027. You’ll have the chance to see your positive influence grow as you help students reach their fullest potential in communication and life skills.
