Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience working in schools is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor therapy plans to diverse student populations
Responsibilities and Daily Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to help students overcome speech and language challenges
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and training to educators and parents, fostering an inclusive school environment
