A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding CCC certification to cover a maternity leave in a school setting in Grayville, IL. This onsite position runs from May 4 through May 27 and offers a flexible 3-day per week schedule, allowing you to select any three days that suit your availability. Daily hours are from 7:40 AM to 3:10 PM.
The caseload includes approximately 40 students primarily in grades 3 through 6, with a smaller number of middle and high school students. This role requires strong clinical expertise in delivering speech and language therapy services tailored to the diverse needs of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to students
- Assess and monitor student progress, updating treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant policies and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with children in grades 3-12 within a school environment
- Ability to manage a moderately sized caseload efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
