Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or higher) in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related field
  • Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
  • Thorough understanding of evidence-based therapy techniques and IEP processes
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students with communication and speech/language disorders within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote student success
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families to support students’ progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all students feel empowered
