Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure for Illinois, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and engaging activities
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and track progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing detailed input and maintaining all necessary records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by supporting awareness and education around communication disorders
