Ideal candidates will have:
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license issued by the state board
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship
- Previous experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- A compassionate and engaging approach to interacting with students, families, and staff
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments for preschool through high school students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities
- Serve as an advocate for student success and inclusion within the classroom setting
