Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Park Ridge, Illinois

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and IDEA/504 compliance
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each child’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and families to support generalization of skills
- Monitor, track, and report progress, maintaining diligent documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
