Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Round Lake, IL

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Proven experience in pediatric settings, particularly within schools
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices for school-based therapy
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfort working with children of varied abilities and backgrounds
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP planning
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear, accurate records
- Consult with teachers and parents to provide strategies for continued progress beyond sessions
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment for every student
