Qualifications & Experience
- Active state SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Proven experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- A commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning spaces
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and provide speech and language therapy for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families on communication strategies and student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
