Speech Language Pathologist in Grain Valley, MO

Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services within an autism program, using evidence-based practices tailored to students’ individual needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress utilizing best practices for school-based SLPs
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic student support
- Communicate with families and staff regarding student progress, strategies, and interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school guidelines
- Participate in team and IEP meetings to contribute professional insight and feedback
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Current and valid SLP license
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Experience supporting students in a school environment, preferably with autism spectrum disorders
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse learners and manage a caseload efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, onsite position from 8/17/26 to 9/4/26
- Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am–4:40pm
- Caseload is focused within the autism program at an elementary school setting
