Qualifications:
- Active State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Current SLP Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with preschool populations or Child Find, preferred
- Strong assessment and report-writing abilities
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and intervention services to identified students
- Perform comprehensive evaluations for eligibility and ongoing progress
- Maintain a balanced caseload, which may involve a greater focus on evaluations or therapy depending on school needs
- Prepare thorough and timely documentation meeting state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and progress
- Participate in Child Find activities, including screenings and team meetings
- Contribute actively to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
